A “FREE” online Referee Test is available. The online Referee Test will be required for National High Schools, Intercollegiate and will be encouraged for National Doubles. You can take the test by logging into your USRA Membership Profile.

In response to numerous requests from Event Directors, the USA Racquetball Board of Directors has voted to lower the Limited Event Membership (LEM) fee from $20 to $10, effective immediately.  The on-line membership information in R2 Sports will be updated by tomorrow morning so that your entrants will see the new, lower rate.  New USAR Membership Forms reflecting the reduced fee will be available February 1, 2012; but until then please make manual adjustments on any membership forms being used. 

Let's give Jacob Matthews a big round of CONGRATS for his great performance at the USAR National Jr Olympic Racquetball Championships and encouraging support for future competitions such as 2011 IRF XXIV Jr World Racquetball Championships, July 24-30, 2011 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

I am very excited to run for the USRA Board of Directors again.  I served 6 years on the Board with the last few years as Treasurer and on the Executive Committee. 

All current USAR members may go to <Click Here> to vote for the upcoming USAR board. Voting is scheduled to start on June 7, 2011 and is scheduled to end on July 6, 2011.

Jacob Matthews will be participating in the 2011 38th Annual National Junior Olympic Championships the week of June 21st through June 26th.  As you know Jacob is a rising star in our sport today and has done well in his first visit at last year's tournament.  He has also been a part of the Elite Team Camp for Junior players.

Winner of the Junior 18- Division at the IRT Florida Spring Break Pro Am (Tampa, FL) on March 10-13, 2011 will receive a FREE scholarship to the 2011 Elite Camp in Colorado Springs!

After noting that some forty-one percent of the general membership voted in favor of Option 3, a majority of the USAR’s Board of Directors agreed that a doubles team should be allowed to have either partner serve first each time the team comes “in” to serve and that an “out’ should be assessed to the team if a partner who has lost the serve attempts to serve again during that inning. Here is the pertinent rule wording:

Congrats to Jordan Matthews for winning this year's NCRA Racquetball College Scholarship.  Jordan is starting his freshman year at North Carolina State (Go Wolfpack!!!) School of Engineering.

Dear Racquetball Friends and Family,

            As most of you have heard, I recently attended the 37^th Junior Olympic National Championship in Minnesota.  It was a lot of fun, and I won three medals: gold in 14 and under Red, gold in 14 mixed doubles consolation, and bronze in 16 and under Whites.  Thank you to the NCRA and everyone who supported me through this competition.  A special thank you goes to Mrs. Jan who chaperoned and coached me in Minneapolis.
